Chet Haze Still Insists It’s OK for Him to Use the N-Word

“Rapper” and notable A-list progeny Chet Haze has spoken out (again) after receiving flak for continuing to use the N-word on his Instagram.

According to a report from TMZ, his parents, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, have told him to “just to stay off social media, period” — but Haze soldiers on in his quest to use racial slurs on social media because, in his words, “They’re the old generation, they don’t get it.”

 

“Everyone’s gonna feel however they wanna feel about it,” he told the reporter. “White people use that term, it’s like an unspoken thing amongst their black friends or whatever. I have black friends that use it with me and I use it with them.”

As for the rapper’s parents, the warning is all about social media, something Chet says Tom and Rita don’t understand. Maybe Chet doesn’t understand … he has 17,000 Twitter followers and Tom has around 10 million.
