Reports coming in that Explosion at Ariana Grande Concert was a Terrorists Attack – Suicide Bomber

There are reports the explosive device was a “nail bomb” … which explains the images of victims, several bleeding profusely on the scene. Fox News reporting possible suicide bomber, not confirmed yet.

British police have confirmed “a number of fatalities” and many injuries after at least one explosion rocked a Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.

Police from the North West Counter-Terror Unit said they are treating the incident as a possible terror attack.

The BBC reported the deaths from the possible attack to be in “double figures” with an official toll yet to be released.

British Transport Police (BTP) released a statement saying attended Manchester Arena following reports of an “explosion within the foyer area of the stadium at 10.30pm this evening”.

“Emergency services are at the scene and we are working to establish more information regarding the explosion, and will provide further updates as soon as possible.”

Members of the bomb squad subsequently attended the scene.
Grande was reportedly unharmed by the incident.

Witness Jade Baynes told the BBC she was told to run by armed police after leaving the arena.

The woman said she heard loud bangs and what sounded like gunshots just after the concert had finished.

A Grande fan who attended the concert told The New Daily that she saw police everywhere and people crying.

“We were coming out of the arena and a loud bang went off so everyone panicked. When we ran out there was lots of smoke,” the woman, who declined to have her name published, said.

“Apparently there was people with blood on them. It was so scary.”

Local staff issues a plea for Manchester residents to be patient as the dealt with the incident.

At least one explosion at a concert given by singer Ariana Grande sent terrified fans running for the exits Monday in Manchester in the United Kingdom, according to Variety and various other media organizations

Grande herself appears to be uninjured. It’s unclear if concert-goers or staff at the event were injured.

Greater Manchester Police said via Twitter that they were responding to the scene of a “serious incident” at Manchester Arena and asked members of the public to avoid the area.

A Grande label rep told Variety that there were two loud bangs at the concert venue.

Emergency services were rushing to the scene, according to the Mirror.

At least 10 police cars and five ambulances were seen rushing to the scene, the Mirror reported.

Tmz Greater Manchester Police say there are a “number of confirmed fatalities and others injured.”

I and my sister, along with a lot of others were seeing Ariana Grande perform at Manchester Arena, and we were all exiting the venue when around 10.40-10,45pm-ish a huge bomb-like bang went off that hugely panicked everyone and we were all trying to flee the arena.
