FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Front Man Ivan Moody Hospitalized Tour Cancelled No longer opening for Black Sabbath

Five Finger Death Punch have been forced to cancel their upcoming Australian tour, including both the headline shows and all shows with Black Sabbath. Singer, Ivan Moody was hospitalized in his hometown of Denver.  He is expected to make a full recovery. While the reasoning for his hospitalization has yet to be revealed, Moody’s issue was severe enough to cause the band to cancel their entire Australian tour. It’s also unknown if Moody remains hospitalized.

It is especially disappointing to Five Finger Death Punch that they will not be able to play before Black Sabbath, a band Five Finger Death Punch has deep reverence for, on Black Sabbath’s last ever shows in Australia.

Ivan and Five Finger Death Punch express their sincere apologies to both their fans and to the fans of Black Sabbath.

Ticket holders for Five Finger Death Punch’s headline shows in Melbourne (April 20 at The Forum) and Sydney (April 22 at Big Top, Luna Park) and will be contacted by the relevant ticketing outlet to advise of the process for obtaining a refund.

Black Sabbath’s national tour begins on April 15 at Perth Arena.
