WOODY HARRELSON ENLISTS AS BAD GUY FOR WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES

Woody Harrelson is ready for some full-blown ape warfare.

With Matt Reeves returning to direct the next chapter of the PLANET OF THE APES prequel sequels, WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES, the director has secured one of his main human leads in the form of good ol’ Woody. Harrelson will be serving as one of the film’s baddies, playing a character mysteriously known only as the Colonel. No other details on Harrelson’s motivations have managed to leak out of the tight-lipped production, but I think it’s safe to guess that he’ll be key to the downfall of humanity. Plus, you know there’s that scene of a showdown between Harrelson and Andy Serkis‘ Caesar that is the type of sequence dreams are made of.

It’s still a ways off, but WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES draws the battle lines in your theater onJuly 14, 2017.
