The Walking Dead channels Deadpool in new mash-up video

The Walking Dead has had some pretty intense moments over the past six seasons, including the nail-biting cliffhanger during the most recent finale. But the zombie apocalypse becomes slightly less devastating in a new video that mashes the AMC series withDeadpool.

YouTube channel AFK Anthony injected The Walking Dead with doses of the Merc with the Mouth by way of Ryan Reynolds and DMX’s “X Gon’ Give It to Ya.” All of the sudden, scenes like Rick’s berserker rage in Alexandria and Negan’s barbed baseball bat are easier to stomach.

Deadpool and Deadpool 2 screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick already tackled zombies in 2009’s Zombieland starring Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Woody Harrelson. But this is the closest we have at what their take on The Walking Dead might look like.
