VAN HALEN Tickets Averaging $223 On Secondary Market

The average price for tickets to VAN HALEN‘s upcoming North American tour on the secondary market is around $223, according to Forbes.com. The most expensive show of the three-month, 39-date run is a August 9 gig at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, where the average secondary price is 122 percent more than the tour average at $495. A Dallas show is averaging $460, while a stop in San Bernardino has an average price of $403.

The least expensive VAN HALEN show on the upcoming tour will be take place on September 4 at the DTE Energy Music Pavilion in Detroit, with average secondary market price of $161, 28 percent below the tour average.

Forbes.com collected these figures through TiqIQ, a search engine that scans the listings of online ticket resellers.

VAN HALEN‘s summer/fall North American tour will kick off on July 5 in Seattle, winding down on October 2 in Los Angeles. This will be VAN HALEN‘s first full-length run after the band abruptly canceled a 2012 summer trek in support of that year’s studio album, “A Different Kind Of Truth”.

Tickets for the trek go on sale beginning April 4 at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. The opening act will be KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD BAND.

March 31 saw the release of “Live Tokyo Dome In Concert”, the band’s first official live album with singer David Lee Roth.

Recorded on June 21, 2013 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, the set features 23 tracks taken from all seven albums the band recorded with Roth on the mic.

A deluxe edition of the album come with the newly remastered “Van Halen” and “1984” albums, as both a four-CD collection and a six-LP vinyl set in special packaging.
