TRAILER FOR DAREDEVIL’S SECOND SEASON TEASES ELEKTRA AND THE PUNISHER

Daredevil (Charlie Cox) won’t be returning to Hell’s Kitchen until next year, but fans who attended New York Comic-Con were treated to a sizzle reel celebrating the success of the first season of Marvel’s Daredevil, which was then followed by our first look at the show’s second season. After leaking out earlier today, that teaser has now been officially released for everyone to enjoy and it includes glimpses at two of the most anticipated characters of Daredevil’s second season, Elektra (Elodie Yung) and the Punisher (Jon Bernthal).

It may be brief, but it looks as though the show’s second season will be giving us another dose of the dark, action-packed, and thrilling series that blew us away the first time around. Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Scott Glenn, and Peter McRobbie will all be returning where they’ll be joined by Stephen Rider, Elodie Yung, and Jon Bernthal. As well getting our first look at Elektra and the Punisher in action, there’s an additional cool moment which pops up in the trailer, as a quote from our own Alex Maidy was included in the sizzle reel. Alex reviewed the entire first season of Daredevil, and you can be sure that we’ll be reviewing Jessica Jones along with Daredevil’s second season as well.

Daredevil will return to Netflix in 2016.
