Rage Against The Machine To Reunite for 2016 Summer Tour with Public Enemy
Rage Against The Machine fans are getting excited about the band potentially touring again or announcing new music, as the band have begun posting mysterious teasers online and in the US.
The ‘Killing In The Name Of’ political metal heroes have not played a show together since 2011- among their last run of gigs was their free gig at London’s Finsbury Park to thank fans for being made Christmas No.1 and defeating X Factor in the chart battle.
Drummer Brad Wilk previously dismissed rumours of a reunion, telling fans that the band had ‘played their last show’.
Now, it looks like huge news on the horizon, as RATM have launched the website Prophets Of Rage – which leads to a mailing list and a countdown that ends of 1 June.

The teaser comes with the hashtag ‘Take The Power Back’ – referring to the seminal track from their 1992 self-titled album, while ‘Prophets Of Rage’ is a Public Enemy song. Public Enemy’s Chuck D has recently been posting Rage songs on Twitter, leading fans to speculate that the two acts may be touring together:

Speaking to Rolling Stone earlier this year, bassist Tim Commerford said: “We are still a band, and we still might play again. We don’t have anything scheduled right now, but you never know what the future will bring.”
