Norman Reedus reveals his best day ever on set of The Walking Dead video
Norman Reedus loves his job. And there is a lot to love. He gets to play Daryl Dixon and all the things that go along with that — riding a motorcycle, wearing a badass jacket, wielding a crossbow. And he gets to do it all on the highest-rated show on television, The Walking Dead.

But some days are better than others. Which made us want to know, what is his favorite day ever on set? We already asked Melissa McBride and Danai Gurira to reveal theirs and now it was Reedus’ turn. The man went all the way back to the first episode from season 2 for a memorable scene involving Daryl and Rick in the woods in the initial stages of the search for Sophia.

“I gotta say, Andy and I with Greg [Nicotero] and the special effects team cutting open the zombie body trying to look for Sophia’s bones,” says Reedus of his best day ever on set. “Because that was just a really fun, funny day. I really like that one. That was probably my favorite because there was like FLOOP! noises and hot air in the woods. That was kind of awesome, I have to admit. There have been so many favorite days for me on the show though. That one sort of sticks in my mind this morning because that was really funny.”
