Mumford and Sons cover “Sweet Dreams” with Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus — watch

Mumford and Sons have been touring North America this summer behind their latest album, Wilder Mind. Waistcoats and their newfound “electric” sound aren’t the only things they’ve been flaunting on stage, however.

For the last few weeks, the UK outfit has been treating audiences to a slick version of the Eurythmics hit “Sweet Dreams”. They’d first debuted the cover during a Maida Vale Session in late July, but finally got the chance to perform it in a live arena setting on August 11th in Edmonton.

Perhaps the best rendition, though, came last night during Mumford and Sons’ show at The Forum in Inglewood, California, where they were joined by tour mates Jack Garratt and The Vaccines, as well as very random special guest Mark Hoppus of Blink-182.
