Mark McGrath, Sugar Ray front man, partied with Scott Weiland weeks before he died, says “He was Like Elvis”

Mark McGrath, Sugar Ray front man and close friend of the late Scott Weiland says he saw the singer just weeks before his death and he wasn’t his normal self.

Mark appears on an upcoming episode of Theo Von and Matt Weiss‘ “Allegedly” podcast this week and talks about his run-in with Weiland. Mark says he chatted with Scott and the two had a few drinks at a friend’s wedding, he says Scott was out of it.

McGrath says Scott took the stage at the ceremony too — listen to the clip — it’s interesting to hear Mark describe his performance.
