MARILYN MANSON Ponders Collaboration With KORN’s JONATHAN DAVIS and YelaWolf
Now that he has repaired his friendship with Billy Corgan of the SMASHING PUMPKINS, Marilyn Manson has set about rebuilding the bridge with another old pal, KORN singer Jonathan Davis. According to The Pulse Of Radio, the pair were close at one point but had a falling out sometime after 2002, allegedly over drugs.
But now the relationship appears to be on the mend, with Manson telling Metal Hammer, “Jonathan and I used to be really close. We hadn’t seen each other in quite some time. Now he and I are talking about doing something completely unexpected together.”
Manson did not elaborate on what they might work together on. He and Davis last joined forces in 2002 on a song called “Redeemer” for the soundtrack of the movie “Queen Of The Damned”.
Manson and Corgan recently buried the hatchet and renewed their friendship after years of being estranged.
Their friendship went south in the ’90s when Manson was dating actress Rose McGowan and Corgan sent a letter to Manson warning him about the actress.
When they ran into each other recently after 15 years, Manson said, “I had forgotten how close we were, having not seen him in so long.”
The pair have since shared the stage a few times, and now Manson and the PUMPKINS will head out on a co-headlining North American tour beginning on July 7 in Concord, California and winding down on August 8 in Cincinnati.
Yelawolf recently told us about is budding friendship with Manson and stated that the plan on releasing a mix tape together. You can catch that full interview below
