Kid Rock’s assistant found dead at singer’s Nashville property

The man killed in an ATV accident overnight at a Whites Creek property belonging to Kid Rock is Michael Sacha, 30, who worked as Rock’s assistant.

Brian Haas, public information officer with the Nashville Fire Department, said they responded to a call  Monday morning on Knight Drive and found a man lying face down on the side of a driveway. The man was already deceased by the time the fire department arrived.

A news release from Metro police confirmed the ATV accident happened early Monday morning when Sacha drove two people who had attended a cook out down the driveway to meet an Uber driver at midnight. While riding the ATV back to the residence, Sacha crashed. Ritchie and a friend found Sacha on an embankment late Monday morning and called for help.

Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, purchased an additional 102 acres last year to add to the 68 acres he already owned at the Whites Creek location. A multi-million dollar home also sits on the property that was formerly occupied by a horse ranch.
