JEFF GOLDBLUM RETURNS AS IAN MALCOLM IN NEW JURASSIC WORLD 2 FEATURETTE

Tomorrow we will see the first trailer for the upcoming, massive, gigantic, monstrous and all around huge summer blockbuster, JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM. Over the course of the last few days, we’ve seen a couple teasers teasing the trailer, which will probably be more like a teaser itself, all showing off the dinosaur madness. With one day left to go we have a detailed BTS featurette that explores the suspense of the film, the animatronic dinosaurs and, best of all, gives us our first look at Jeff Goldblum’s returning Dr. Ian Malcolm. Life finds a way alright, and so does magic, apparently.

The featurette does give me hope the sequel will be better than the first outing. J.A. Bayona seems to have a firmer grasp on what made the original movie as good as it was, and with him at the helm, we may see a return to genuine, suspenseful thrills that make the dinosaur action all the more intense. An adventure that involves running away from dinosaurs should be scary to a degree and should make you feel a sense of panic. Hopefully, this film captures that like JURASSIC PARK did, and if it doesn’t, I will still be satisfied as long as I get my Goldblum fix.
