Sofa King Cool Caught Up With Lukas Front Man Of Veil Of Maya and We Talked about his New Company New Industry, Veil Of Maya, the acts he signed, touring and what his plans for 2018 are
Veil of Maya is an American metalcore band, formed in Chicago, Illinois by members Marc Okubo and Sam Applebaum in 2004. They are currently signed to Sumerian Records and have released six studio albums
New Industry is a hybrid entertainment & production company operating within the U.S with a clientele far beyond these borders. In a new era, it is time to evolve the world of art and entertainment. Control is in our own hands as artists, content creators and entrepreneurs.

Hello everyone, I’m Lukas Magyar. Most of you probably know me as the front-man for Veil of Maya. As we settle in to a new year, I am happy to announce a brand new company, New Industry. We are a hybrid entertainment and production company located in the United States. We also take on the role of artist management and development. The idea came about several years ago—before anyone had any idea who I was. This past summer, with the help of some good friends, New Industry came to fruition.
Recently, we’ve been involved in audio production and some co-writing for bands based out of multiple different countries. We’ve also been hard at work creating our own music and video content, which we are very excited to share with all of you. These projects will be released through our YouTube channel later on this year.
Additionally, we have a few solo artists and bands currently under our management. Grayson Erhard is a very versatile guitarist/vocalist and talented song-writer that is under our management. You can check out his song paired with a captivating visual on YouTube below

Another one of our acts is based out of the Twin Cities in Minnesota; In Search of Solace is a heavy hitting band driven by raw emotion and aggressive instrumentals. They’ve too released an ear pleasing single available on YouTube called, Recognize. Check out this banger, then roll on over to iTunes where you can find their LP released last Spring titled, Regression|Progression.
Last but not least, we are working with a band out of Ohio called A Sense of Purpose. Their latest single, Heirloom, has over 100,000 streams on Spotify and counting. The video for this song can also be found on YouTube.
