First trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit
M. Night Shyamalan’s mysterious new horror film THE VISIT first got our attention with a couple of new posters, but now that it’s here with its first ever trailer, should we be excited? The trailer is decent enough, teasing a batshit crazy grandma who just wants to bake small children in her oven. It also gives us our first good look at what M. Night Shyamalan has in store, and interestingly enough, there’s a found footage element to it. The good news is that it doesn’t look like it was filmed with a potato, so that’s cool. Check it out below and see what you think!
Written and directed by Shyamalan, THE VISIT is about:
A brother and sister are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a week-long trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.
THE VISIT stars Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould, Erica Lynne Marszalek, Peter McRobbie, Olivia DeJonge, Deanna Dunagan, Benjamin Kanes, Jon Douglas Rainey, Brian Gildea, Shawn Gonzalez, Richard Barlow, Steve Annan, and Michael Mariano. Expect to see this one in theaters on September 11, 2015.
