Every Time I Die Guitarist Andy Williams Lays the Smackdown at Pro Wrestling Show

Well let me tell you something brother! Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams recently laid the smackdown on some jabroni at a Smash Wrestling event. The musician was unflappable during his time in the ring, eventually putting away his adversary with an epic chokeslam.

Rock, hardcore and metal have all been tied to wrestling for decades. Head over to any WWE or independent wrestling show and you’ll see the proof in the crowd. Heavy-hitting tracks from bands like Motorhead, Rage Against the Machine, Killswitch Engage and many others have served as entrance themes for pro wrestlers, while performers like CM Punk and Edge took their real-life passion for music and integrated it into their respective personas. Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan even ran his own wrestling promotion before being tapped by TNA to fill a Senior Producer position.

As for ETID’s Andy Williams, the dude is already huge, so he looks like a natural in the ring. While in the ring with wrestler Tarik, Williams was the recipient of a punch to the face. Williams completely no-selled the hit and grabbed Tarik by the neck to deliver a brutal chokeslam from hell. Check out video of the smackdown over at TMZ and in the Twitter video below.

Well done! Andy Williams isn’t the only Every Time I Die member who has taken matters into his own hands. In late 2014, ETID guitarist Jordan Buckley karate kicked a phone out of a fan’s hand after the concertgoer jumped onstage and tried to take a selfie.

Every Time I Die’s most recent full-length, From Parts Unknown, is a blistering ride. To grab a copy of the album, click here.

TMZ has exclusive footage of Every Time I Die's Andy Williams showing Tarik that quite frankly, no one in Smash…
