Dave Grohl Performed Last Night Sitting On A Huge Throne
Some artists would be deterred by a broken leg, but Dave Grohl is not one of them. The singer injured himself seriously last month when he fell during a show in Sweden. This forced the Foo Fighters to cancel their headlining Glastonbury set and several other European dates.
But Grohl couldn’t miss the band’s 20th anniversary show yesterday at Washington D.C.’s RFK Stadium. He hinted on Twitter that he would perform at the event, and sure enough, the singer took the stage with a cast on his leg and played seated on a throne. Guitars stuck out from all sides of Grohl’s specially-constructed chair, which made the whole apparatus look like a rock and roll version of the much sought-after seat of power in Game Of Thrones.
