Brian Wilson fans got an extra special summer treat when Bruce Springsteenjoined the musician for a pair of Beach Boys classics in New Jersey.

Springsteen surprised the crowd at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel as he added harmonies to the classic, “Barbara Ann,” before the band gifted The Boss with a guitar. He then added some tasty licks to “Surfin’ USA.”

This isn’t Springsteen’s first Surfin’ Safari with the former Beach Boy. In 2007, he joined Wilson’s band, The Wondermints, at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank to perform the same two songs alongside Smithereens drummer Dennis Diken.
