Rob Zombie “”I feel bad for Brian Johnson. Being in a band for 38 years and still be the new guy is kind of odd but, I’m not in AC/DC”

According to The Pulse Of Radio, Rob Zombie has weighed in on the strange situation regarding AC/DC and singer Brian Johnson. The band postponed the last ten dates of its recent North American tour after doctors told Johnson he faced “total hearing loss.” Evidence has mounted that AC/DC may use GUNS N’ ROSES singer Axl Rose as a “guest vocalist” when it reschedules the shows, with Johnson possibly not returning to the band at all.

Comedian Jim Breuer, a friend of Johnson, recently claimed that despite the singer being in AC/DC for 36 years, he still felt like a hired gun.

Zombie told The Pulse Of Radio that the situation seems like a difficult one from the outside. “That’s a weird one,” he said. “I feel bad for Brian Johnson. Being in a band for 38 years and still be the new guy is kind of odd but, you know, I’m not in AC/DC so I don’t know the dynamic of it all, you know.”

AC/DC reportedly began meeting with potential guest singers in Atlanta, during which Rose was also spotted in the city.

Not yet known is Johnson‘s future status with AC/DC. Johnson has fronted the group for 36 years, but it is not clear whether his hearing issue will prevent him from performing live with them again.

The rescheduled North American dates for AC/DC have not yet been announced. The band’s next confirmed shows take place in Europe in May.

Rob Zombie‘s new disc, “The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser”, arrives on April 29. The first single is “Well, Everybody’s Fucking In A UFO
