Justin Bieber Put in Chokehold, Asked to Leave Coachella: Video Here
Justin Bieber was reportedly put in a chokehold by security and kicked out of Coachella on Sunday night during Drake‘s festival-closing set.
According to TMZ, the pop star and his entourage were refused access to the artist entrance area while Drake was performing. Even though they had the proper wristbands, security said the area was at capacity so they couldn’t come in.
The website reports that Bieber argued with security and said there was no way he could watch from the normal crowd because he’d get overwhelmed by fans. He also reportedly said he was personally invited by Drake to watch his set in the side stage area. Bieber’s persistence was apparently not well-received.
Next, a Coachella staff member reportedly came to assist Bieber and said she would escort him inside the artist area. TMZ says she was leading Bieber and his crew past festival security when a Coachella security guard came up from behind and put the singer in a chokehold. Apparently, Bieber’s personal detail got into it with the festival security then and were ordered to leave the event entirely.
TMZ says Bieber left voluntarily then and his team is considering taking legal action. Watch TMZ’s video here:
