Over 50 People Killed 200 + injured At Jason Aldean Concert By Lone Shooter in Las Vegas (Video)

Police in Las Vegas are responding to a mass shooting at the Mandalay Bay Resort, where multiple people are reportedly injured … and multiple shooters are suspected.

Videos from social media started pouring in late Sunday night showing multiple rounds being fired from what sounds like a rooftop or from somewhere up high. People are taking cover and running for their lives.

The shots started raining down on concert goers who were watching a set from Jason Aldean during the final night of the Route 91 country music festival. He, and onlookers, froze when the first rounds started being fired … and chaos and panic ensued. The shots are clearly coming from automatic or semi-automatic weapons.

3:45 AM PT  Police are now saying more than 50 people are dead.  They also named the male shooter — 64-year-old Stephen Paddock.

2:01 AM PT — Police have confirmed investigators are looking for Marilou Danley — the person of interest who is a reported companion of the lone wolf shooter. She’s an Asian woman who’s about 4’11” and is thought to weigh about 111 lbs. LVMPD released a photo of her. Cops are also looking for 2 vehicles with Nevada plates, both of which are registered to the shooter.

 

1:40 AM PT — Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo held a press conference, and confirmed there are 20-plus people dead and over 100 people injured. The one shooter who was killed is believed to be a Las Vegas local. He is also thought to be a lone wolf attacker. Police are looking for one other person of interest, a woman who is the shooter’s companion. He also said reports of multiple shooters and explosions were not accurate. Lombardo also said some off-duty officers were among the dead.

1:28 AM PT — An off-duty Bakersfield, CA police officer was shot during the gunfire. He’s being treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.

1:07 AM PT — The Las Vegas Review-Journal is reporting that at least 20 people are dead per a police source … and 24 others are injured, 12 of them critically. That number has not been confirmed by authorities as of yet.

12:58 AM PT — SWAT teams were reportedly sent to the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay, where the suspected shooter is believed to have been killed.

12:33 AM PT — Las Vegas Police say they do not believe there are any more shooters than just the one who went down … at least for now.

12:32 AM PT — Jason Aldean has confirmed he is safe after the gunfire broke out in the middle of his performance. Other country stars who performed at Route 91 Harvest are also starting to confirm they’re OK.

12:13 AM PT — Another casino in Vegas, New York New York, was reportedly also under fire during the initial attack.

12:02 AM PT — Las Vegas Police say one suspect is down, while noting the investigation is still active … and warning everyone to stay off the Vegas strip.

11:47 PM PT — At least 2 people are dead and at least 24 others are injured so far, according to reports.

Law enforcement authorities have identified a 64-year-old Nevada man as the lone gunman in the horrific mass shooting that killed more than 50 people and wounded more than 200 at a concert in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
Sheriff Joseph Lombardo of Clark County, which surrounds Las Vegas, told reporters early Monday morning that the gunman was identified as Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada, and said authorities also believe they have in custody a woman who was traveling with Paddock.
The Independent described Paddock as a white male.
Paddock was killed by officers during a raid on the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, from which authorities believe he opened fired on a nearby outdoor music festival on Sunday night.
It was not immediately clear how or where officers apprehended Marilou Danley, the woman whom authorities described as a “companion” with the shooter.
