The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are announcing their rescheduled US tour dates that were postponed because of the recent nationwide closures around the Corona Virus outbreak.

Front man Ron Winter stated “All we can do is be hopeful and stay positive – so we are cautiously optimistic that we will have made significant progress on recovering from the current nationwide Corona Virus outbreak by early summer.   We always want our fans to be safe and healthy, first and foremost – so moving these dates forward a few months was the right thing to do for everyone”.

Ron continues “We decided to release the video right away and to move forward the release of the “Brace Yourself” single to Friday, April 10th.  There’s no doubt about the synergy of “Brace Yourself” lyrics and current events. Many people are still in denial of the current Global Pandemic and we implore them to follow instructions on social space and take personal safety measures seriously.  With some people making fun of the pandemic on social media we thought it was important to go the other way. Do what you can, however you can. Help someone and we will all get through this together”  The “Brace Yourself” video has more than 1 million views in just the 1st week of release.

The tour dates, originally scheduled for late March into April – are in support of their upcoming “The Emergency EP” that features the recently released single “A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Called LA“, their first new release since 2018’s The Awakening. The band stayed active in 2019, having shared a radio edit of one of the album’s tracks, “Shooting Star.” They were also featured on Hopeless Records’ Songs That Saved My Life Vol. 2 to share their cover of Thrice’s “Trust.”

The band hopes that as the pandemic slows down, more North American shows will be added this summer, and European dates will be added in the fall.

It’s been a long but fruitful journey for Rockers The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, who are 17 years into their career and still
going strong. From their humble beginnings in a small northern Florida town just south of Jacksonville, to playing some
of the biggest festivals and stages around the world, the band has persevered through good times and bad. With the
release of new single & video “Brace Yourself” on April 10th, the band continues to espouse hopeful messages with one
of their most impactful and timely songs to date – given the current uncertain times.
Lead singer Ron Winter says of “Brace Yourself”: “There’s no doubt about synergy with the lyrics of this song and
current events. Many people are still in denial of this Global Pandemic and we implore them to follow instructions on
social space and take personal safety measures seriously.
He continues: “With some celebrities and public figures denying or downplaying the severity of the issue, or worse yet
making fun of the pandemic on social media – we thought it was important to go the other way. Do what you can,
however you can. Help someone, and take care of yourself and the ones you love – for everyone’s sake.”
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has amassed a large and loyal following over the years, and has nearly 1.8 million followers
across all Social Media platforms. “Brace Yourself” is the follow up to their most recent single “A Long Time Ago In A
Galaxy Called LA” that received placement on curated playlists on all major streaming platforms. Radio hits like “Face
Down”, “Pen & Paper”, “Am I The Enemy”, “The Awakening” and “On Becoming Willing” have helped propel the band’s
streaming numbers to a level few bands achieve – they have more than 600 Million streams of their songs, and more
than 210 million views of their videos on Youtube. The band has released 5 full length albums: “Face Down” (2006),
“Lonely Road” (2009), “Am I The Enemy” (2011), “4” (2014) and “The Awakening” (2018) ; 6 EPs and 20 singles.
The band has kept their loyal following through constant touring, and have played countless headlining tours along with
featured appearances at some of the biggest festivals in the world. These include the Vans Warped Tour, Rock on the
Range, Inkcarceration, Bamboozle and SXSW in the U.S.; Soundwave in Australia, and Radstock & Slam Dunk festivals in
the UK.
About touring, Ronnie is still thrilled when he plays live and sees the audiences reacting to the band’s music: “I Love the
feeling that I get when I see the look on someone’s face in the crowd who loves the new music and then we start up
“Face Down” and you see them realize we are that same band.” The band plans to continue to release new music &
tour again starting in June with an Australian tour in the fall. Plans are also in the works for the band to tour the UK and
Europe before the end of 2020.
